Wow. It has wheels from THE FOOOOOTURE!
They're only making 200 of these things. Since they promised 500 TF LE500s and managed only to sell something like 122 - or 24.4 percent of total production - I calculate that MG will manage to flog PRECISELY 48.8 units of this new 85th anniversary model.

For the love of God, spend some money on engineering the thing properly. Who the fuck designed those side stripes? _________________ Delivering The Goods |

In the true sense of NAC-MG/MG Motors UK Ltd it will no doubt be HIDEOUSLY overpriced at £19,995 or thereabouts.
Wheres BUFFALO BILL with his contribution for the 85th anniversary? An SV powered by his own ARROGANCE? _________________

Everybody will think that you have the special 85bhp TF judging by those stripes.
Plus, what's so special about an 85th anniversary? Hardly 50, 75 or 100 is it? _________________ Motorfarin' fast trackin' lowprice effort savin' safer ridin' money spinin' Supercovered... British Leyland |

Don't get me wrong, I'd love one. If I wasn't about to go bankrupt, I'd have bought a raffle ticket as advertised on A-R.
But please, lets not pretend they are serious about the poor little thing. _________________ Delivering The Goods |

I like the colour and the wheels look nice too, but the TF needs to be replaced asap. Now, if only 85 of these were for sale in the UK they could stand a chance of selling all of them, 200? I doubt it.
The quicker the MG6 arrives here the better. _________________ Motorfarin' fast trackin' lowprice effort savin' safer ridin' money spinin' Supercovered... British Leyland |

Those stickers are straight out of the 80's Mini Special Edition Engineering Department. I adore them!
Are those tyres particularly shiny or is there some OVERSPRAY on them? |

It does look like they've stretched the tyres onto the wheels like the VW Scene VdownV and <Outers> _________________ I cannot stop farting this morning. Its making me hungry. Lord Sward, 3/10/2008

I guess these are assembled by a small team at Longbridge from left over MGR shells and the other bits are a mixture of left over from MGR and Chinese.
It looks great though, and although I've never driven a TF, the MGF always drove fantastically, despite it's faults. _________________ EFi or death.

I've driven an LE500 and it was a hoot to drive my only gripe is the way you seem to be sat ON the car rather than IN it, and I'm only 5'6 I can only imagine someone like Seamaster would have to have the roof down permanently! _________________

Wheels are mildly reminiscent of original XR3i alloys (although much nicer I'll quickly add). _________________ Turning Up the Volume |
